At the English Apples and Pears AGM this week, Board member Phil Acock gave a moving and well-deserved tribute to the sterling work that CEO Adrian Barlow has done for the top fruit industry over the last twenty years.
Adrian was presented with a claret jug inscribed with “Adrian Barlow for twenty years The Core of Our Industry” and a membership of the Wine Society including a generous kitty. Adrian will not be leaving his post until August allowing a decent hand over period for his successor. Recruitment is well on the way to fill the CEO role and to everyone’s relief Adrian will temporarily take on the role of EAP Chairman when he steps down.
