QV Foods, part of the major potato growing company A.H. Worth in Lincolnshire who have been trading for more than 50 years, have begun talks with their 140 workers at the potato packing operation in March, Cambridgeshire about plans to move the operation to their main site at Holbeach Hurn – in the centre of their main 5,000 acre farming operations.
The company told the Peterborough Telegraph that 125 new jobs would be created at Holbeach but did not confirm the number of workers employed there currently.
