Airflow’s new Bertie Stand: E18
Airflow, established in 1955 & based in the New Forest, specialises in developing and moulding plastic parts for the building industry, as well as contract moulding.
2022 saw a new member join our team! Introducing Bertie, our new British made Christmas tree stand, named after Prince Albert, who first brought living Christmas trees into homes in the UK.
Since launching Bertie, the response has been phenomenal, with many being impressed by the quality and the fact one product can suit all popular Christmas tree sizes.
Bertie has an amazing feature of being able to hold trees from 4’ to 9’/1.2M – 2.7M. One stand will secure all standard tree sizes, making it easier for retailers to stock just one product and allowing customers to reuse their Christmas tree stand year after year. We hope this means that Bertie can be a part of every household’s Christmas traditions.
He also has his own extending support legs, offering extreme stability and can hold 4.5lt (1 gallon) of water. He is 100% recyclable and priced competitively in a range of festive colours, Bertie offers it all. Bertie can be purchased loose or in festive Bertie Boxes, which are aimed at drawing attention and promoting the seasonal atmosphere in shops & on Christmas tree farms.

Botanics International’s Nemesia Melody Stand D77/78 & D95/96
Four Oaks will see the launch of the Nemesia Melody series, exclusive to Botanics International, the series offers 5 distinct colours – Cherry, lilac Blue, Raspberry, Pink & White
Developed by Tim Kerley of Kerley & Co with a vision to improve the range of Nemesia suitable for cold production. Tim said “I wanted to create a series to help growers produce early flowering pots with minimal energy & labour inputs. We now have a line which is very much pot it, look after it & sell it with no pinching & no PGR requirements”
“We are pleased Peter at Botanics International saw the potential of Nemesia Melody & he has set up virus free mother stock with Elsner PAC in Portugal. Weekly imports from Portugal should give easy access to the series”
During the development stages, extensive trials proved Nemesia Melody to be very robust & tolerant of cold temperatures, maintaining green foliage even in the worst of condition which is thanks to the stronger root system from the breeding programme.
Overwintered plants could also be grown alongside Pansies, Senetti & Powerdaisy (another Kerley development) to give hardy flowering plants in early April when colour is limited. Spring potting dates will quickly fill containers
In addition to the early flowering, the varieties are also highly scented with a compact habit, bushy growth & no requirement of growth regulators, suitable for all containers up to 13cm.

Golden Grove Nursery focus on reducing their carbon Footprint Stand D49-50
Having heard so much about Net Zero and various practices they were urged to adopt, Golden Grove Nursery set about making plans to reduce their carbon footprint and mapping all the ways to reach their target.
“We have discussed the whole issue of climate change within the company and decided to pursue various nursery practices to reduce our carbon footprint. Also the type of crop we grow and it’s positive benefit in reduction of carbon in the atmosphere must be borne in mind. So I will cover this aspect first and then the practices adopted to reduce carbon footprint whilst growing the crop. Both reduce our carbon footprint, one is carbon absorption the other carbon mitigation.”
Among the methods the nursery has begun, were: Peat Reduction; new methods of nursery heating and lighting including a biomass boiler and solar panels; transport and delivery options, including electric vehicles and a hydrogen service station.
“We are on a journey of carbon reduction. We do produce plants that lock up carbon for several years which must be considered and further opportunities for carbon reduction will be taken when presented.”

RocketGro’s Peat Free Tree & Shrub Compost Stand B70
This is their newest and tenth growing media product – with it comes a notable effort to become a carbon-zero company. This new product complements the current range and is sure to become another garden centre best-seller. Having only launched in March 2021, RocketGro made its debut at GLEE 2021, presenting a range of six peat-free growing media products. This year, they’re back and showcasing their expanding range of peat-free, organic products to help gardeners at every stage.
As with all RocketGro products, the Peat-Free Tree & Shrub Compost is 100% sustainably grown, made, sourced, and created in Somerset, UK. It is also Soil Association approved for organic growing, vegan friendly, chemical free, all-natural. RocketGro is not only the nation’s fastest-growing producer of peat-free compost, but they are also working to become a carbon-zero company. This product supports that effort and gives consumers the opportunity to actively contribute to making it a carbon net-zero product by encouraging growers to plant trees, shrubs, and hedges in the product.
As a result of a recent comprehensive carbon audit performed in June 2022, RocketGro is a certified low-carbon business. In fact, the production of a bag of RocketGro compost emits a staggering 1,350% less carbon dioxide than the typical peat-based compost alternative. RocketGro is looking at different internal planting and land regeneration programmes to ensure that by 2023 they achieve their carbon net zero objective. They are just a few steps away from becoming carbon neutral.

Southern Trident Stand D39
Southern Trident are delighted to once again be bringing their range of eco-friendly growing media to Four Oaks 2022 with some fantastic new additions to their portfolio. Building on the success of their new products brought to the market in 2021, their range promises to be even more exciting in the year ahead with the introduction of their latest additions for 2023.
Meeting the needs of all types of gardeners in an eco-friendly way is something Southern Trident are passionate about. Coco & Coir, leading the way in the production of coir-based growing media and garden accessories, is introducing not only four brand new indoor composts and a beginner-friendly Microgreens Growing Kit for consumers, but also an innovative new barbecue briquette. Coco Burn promises to bring a 100% natural, smokeless, and near-ashless alternative to traditional wood-based charcoal, eliminating the need to destroy more carbon-capturing trees by turning a ‘waste’ product of the coconut industry – the coconut shell – into compact briquettes.
The all-new Houseplant, Cactus, Citrus, and Orchid Composts on the way for 2023 are made from coconut husk and will be sure to resonate with both beginner and experienced gardeners alike. These new compost blends are made from natural materials, following Southern Trident’s experienced approach in responsible sourcing taken for all of their products. Each compressed block of peat-free compost is easy to store and an exceptional choice for homeowners with limited space – and for easy stocking on shelves.
Protecting the environment is another important factor considered when Southern Trident are creating any new product, standing by their company ethos of ‘Green Today, Greener Tomorrow’. Harmony Gardens, the world’s first PAS2060 certified carbon neutral growing media brand introduced in 2021 to widespread positive acclaim, is also being shown with some brand-new additions to its eco-friendly range. Added to the current range which features a Multipurpose Compost, Grow Bag, Soil Improver, and Top Soil are a brand-new Farmyard Manure, Fruit & Vegetable Compost, Chipped Bark, and a fully peat-free Ericaceous Compost. Discover more about Harmony Gardens on their newly released website www.harmonygardens.uk – With consumers demanding more environmentally friendly products than ever before, Harmony Gardens is a brand that truly resonates with the modern gardener.

TCM Distribution Delivers for the first time Stand: OP25/26 & 39
TCM Distribution was created out of the need for the more unique horticultural delivery service for growers and nurseries throughout the UK which are a little harder to reach due to height, width, weight, or manoeuvring issues and for the past 5 years we have been providing a transport solution direct from growers to many garden centres, retail outlets and shops up and down the high street throughout the UK.
Providing a full UK coverage for deliveries/collections we complete all deliveries without the use of sub-contractors or the use of temporary driving staff. By understanding our clients unique and specific requirements we have established ourselves as “the fixers” for the more difficult and hard to reach deliveries.
This is our first year at Four Oaks and we would be pleased to meet with you to discuss your needs or special requirements; we are at Stand OP25/26 and 39.
Tuscany Growers Stand E143-147
Barbara Fontani sales manager will be on hand at stand E143-144-145-146-147 at Fouroaks Exhibition to inform visitors about the nursery, which operates from Pistoia.
The two nurseries, Vivai Masetti Sabino and Vivai Biagini Azienda Agricola san Giovanni co-operate together under the brand Tuscany Growers, which is entirely owned and operated by women, making it the only female-run organisation in the Italian nursery industry.
“The 50th anniversary show provides an excellent opportunity for us to introduce our companies and our products to potential customers in the sector and demonstrate to them first-hand what we can can supply and which are the services we provide. Due to the nature of our group we can address to a wide range of categories beginning with nurseries, then garden centres and ending with landscapers.

Their specialist range includes medium to large plants of Magnolia both evergreen and deciduous varieties, Cedrus, Taxus, Abies, Picea, Camellia, Photinia, Quercus and Ilex.
Complementing the range offered from Masetti Sabino, Vivai Biagini Azienda Agricola San Giovanni concentrates on producing container-grown nursery stock (Wisteria, Rhyncospermum, Elaeagnus, Photinia, Nandina, etc.) in a range of pot sizes on an 11-hectare site.
