This year’s SAC Association of Potato Producers (SACAPP) annual Potato Growers Conference will take place virtually on Wednesday 26 January, with the theme of ‘Finding a new direction for the potato industry.’
According to organisers, Brexit, the winding-up of AHDB, Covid-19 and the COP26 agenda, together with increased production costs means that business as usual is no longer an option, and a new future direction is needed. The organisers say they “aim to challenge and inform.”
In addition to group meetings and on farm support SAC Consulting also offers the Potato Bulletin to subscribers, and operates a series of regionally based agronomy groups, members of which meet locally and share experience and information with expert technical guidance.
The 2022 SACAPP Conference is free to members, and non-members can register to attend online for just £10.
