To be held at two farms:
- Downgate Farm, Silverden Lane, Sandhurst, Cranbrook, Kent, TN18 5NU – a tour of the organic orchards by kind permission of Paul Ward.
- Stevens Farm, Tongswood Drive, Rye Road, Hawkhurst, Cranbrook, Kent, TN18 5DS – a tour of the orchards and grain stores by kind permission of David and Richard Budd.
Registration will be at 3.15pm at Downgate Farm.
There will be presentations by Damian Trussler, Head of Deposits at Oxbury Bank Plc – ‘An introduction to Oxbury Bank’ and Ali Capper, Executive Chairman of British Apples and Pears Ltd.
The event will include a hog roast supper (vegetarian option available) and BIFGA’s 35th anniversary celebratory drink (courtesy of Biddenden Vineyards).
The cost is £15.00 per person.
