To help farmers who are thinking of opening for Open Farm Sunday for the first time this year, organiser, LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming), is holding a free webinar to offer ideas, information and tips for those inviting the public onto their farms.
The twenty minute webinar will take place on Tuesday 31st January 2017 at 1pm and is part of a series of free webinars being run by LEAF for Open Farm Sunday, for both new and experienced Open Farm Sunday host farmers. Future webinars will cover topics including health and safety, activities and publicity.
The OFS Bitesize webinars are broadcast live, allowing farmers from across the country to log in and follow the presentations, ask questions and have them answered in real time. These instructional twenty minute webinars offer an interactive way of preparing to host an Open Farm Sunday event. Presenters from LEAF, the team of OFS Regional Co-ordinators and experienced host farmers will contribute their wealth of knowledge and experience to the sessions. All OFS Bitesize webinars will start at 1pm, and shortly afterwards will be made available via the Open Farm Sunday website for farmers to view on demand.
