With AHDB Horticulture and AHDB Potatoes winding up at the end of March, growers have been reminded they will continue to have access to the technical information and research that resulted from their levy investment. The archive covers all work done since the formation of AHDB in 2008.
It includes more than 780 research library pages relevant to horticulture and 186 for potatoes – these are summaries for each individual research project or programme, plus downloadable full reports for each.
There are also more than 900 knowledge library pages for horticulture and 230 for potatoes. These include best practice guidance over a range of technical topics such as pest and disease management or irrigation, based on levy-funded research and other sources.
Growers will be able to access the back-catalogue of podcasts covering issues such as crop protection, labour and energy efficiency, and information from the Strategic Potato Farm (SPot Farm) programme. There are also links to a range of technical videos.
Links to pages where you can browse all the available information on specific horticulture crops, or on topics such as labour efficiency or peat reduction, can be found at archive.ahdb.org.uk/horticulture. Alternatively, individual research reports can be retrieved via the search box on the research library page (archive.ahdb.org.uk/research) while best practice guides can be accessed in a similar way at archive.ahdb.org.uk/knowledge-library.
The home page for the potatoes archive is archive.ahdb.org.uk/potatoes.
