A West Sussex Growers’ Association conference is set to examine the subject of robotics, when it takes place on November 9th at Plumpton College.
The event, which will take place between 10am – 4.30pm, will focus on Innovation, Automation & Robotics in Horticulture.
Speakers include Minette Batters, President of the NFU, Professor Simon Pearson from University of Lincoln, Professor Gail Taylor formerly of Southampton University and now UC Davis, California, Kit Franklin from Harper Adams and Andy Hall, from Tortuga Agtech.
The conference will explore how developments in manufacturing can be applied to our sector and have secured manufacturing speakers such as Joshua Dalby, Chief Engineer at Ricardo and Mike Wilson from MTC.
The conference is open to representatives from across the horticultural sector, education, technology companies, academia, investors, influencers and policy makers.
