Vinescapes Ltd is offering a programme of practical workshops in response to industry demand and training needs. The small group workshops are specially designed for those new to viticulture and for those who are seeking to develop their practical skills, and are delivered regionally. The programme will include wine and winemaking training and will run towards the end of the year.
Joel Jorgensen, Viticulture Director commented: “Small group workshops are a great way to learn essential practical skills in a relaxed atmosphere. Learning how to carry out routine vineyard tasks and operations correctly is important to ensure the health, productivity, and success of the vineyard – so well worth attending!”
Some of the comments from satisfied trainees include:
- ‘A really useful and enjoyable day; well-pitched in terms of knowledge; enjoyed the practical parts particularly.’
- ‘A good size group with opportunity to discuss and ask questions – useful to mix with outdoor experience looking at vines.’
- ‘A good balance between theory and practice; complex topics explained in simple terms. Thank you!’
Dr Alistair Nesbitt, CEO commented: “We have a team of experts with international experience, so it makes sense to share our knowledge.”
Vinescapes’ comprehensive ‘Ground to Grape to Glass’ services includes site evaluation, vineyard establishment and management, winery scoping and design, as well as consultancy and training.
