A winner will be selected by the panel to be fast-tracked by Tesco to a potential trial with a relevant supply chain partner, also benefitting from direct feedback and mentoring by the Tesco Agricultural team.
The winner will also have the opportunity to present on stage at the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit taking place September 20-21, with its audience of over 900 international agribusiness leaders. All finalists will be invited to attend the two-day summit to maximise their visibility and networking and benefit from feedback on their technology from the senior executive audience.
Abigail Ryder, Programme Director for the World Agri-Tech Innovation Series, says “The Tesco Agri T-Jam gives up-and-coming innovators a powerful opportunity to be seen by this high-profile retailer’s supply chain partners, as well as our global summit audience, and to make strategic connections that could significantly scale their operations.
