With AHDB Horticulture winding up at the end of March, growers have been reminded they continue to have online access to the technical information and research results that resulted from their levy investment.
The archive covers all work done since the formation of AHDB in 2008, and some of the work undertaken by HDC before that. It includes more than 780 research library pages and more than 900 knowledge library pages relevant to horticulture.
The research library holds summaries for each individual research project or programme, plus downloadable full reports for each. The knowledge library includes best practice guidance, such as factsheets and crop walkers’ guides, covering a range of technical topics based on levy-funded research and other sources.
Growers will be able to access the back-catalogue of more than 40 horticulture podcasts covering issues such as crop protection, labour and energy efficiency. There are also links to a range of technical videos on the AHDB Horticulture YouTube channel.
There are two ways of finding what you are looking for.
Links to pages where you can browse all the available information on specific crops, or on topics such as labour efficiency or peat reduction, can be found at archive.ahdb.org.uk/horticulture.
Alternatively, individual research reports can be retrieved via the search box on the research library page (archive.ahdb.org.uk/research). Best practice guides can be accessed in a similar way at archive.ahdb.org.uk/knowledge-library. Crop walkers’ guides can also be found at archive.ahdb.org.uk/knowledge-library/crop-walker-guides.
