Following the retirement of Andrew Walker after 39 years with ADAS, Jackie Evans, the current ADAS Director for Agriculture and Land Management has been additionally appointed as the ADAS Managing Director.
Having begun with ADAS, Jackie went on to hold various leadership roles in agricultural and business consultancies. She returned to ADAS in 2017 to lead the agricultural side of the business and now as Managing Director will oversee 440 staff working across agricultural, research, and environmental disciplines.
On her new appointment, Jackie said “ADAS has played an essential role in securing efficient and sound food production and land management for many decades. With the recent history of Brexit and the pandemic, our consultancy services have never been in more demand.
Increasing recognition of the importance of soil health, biodiversity, and carbon management, which have always been central to our vision as a company, indicates we have an exciting future ahead of us. I have no doubt that with our expert knowledge and growing staff base, we can continue to find solutions for the climate crisis, and drive productivity with an ecological focus.”
