McCain Foods has launched a range of new potato lines, including its first ever frozen mashed potato product.
Supplied in 650 gram packs with a recommended price of £1.50, the small pieces of mash are designed to be cooked in a microwave in around three minutes and are aimed at busy households looking for solutions to mid week meals. The company says that mash is the most popular way of consuming potatoes in the home.
The company has also introduced new McCain Mash Machines. Aimed at children, they are made with real mashed potato they are similar to McCain Smiles, come in the shape of trains, planes, cars and boats. Other new products include McCain Spicy Peri Peri Fries and McCain Steakhouse Ridge Cut Fries, together with limited edition American BBQ Wedges and improved McCain Croquettes.
