Sakata Seed Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Tsutomu Kagami as its new President and Representative Director, effective August 26, 2025. The decision was formally approved at the General Meeting of Shareholders and the Board of Directors held on the same day. This leadership transition follows the announcement of the company’s new management structure made on July 14, 2025.
Mr. Kagami brings a forward-looking vision to Sakata Seed Corporation at a time of rapid transformation in the global agricultural landscape. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of maintaining consistency amid evolving challenges such as environmental shifts, geopolitical risks, and the emergence of advanced technologies including genomics and artificial intelligence.
