Royal Brinkman is proud to celebrate 40 years of holding the prestigious ‘Royal’ designation, awarded by Royal Decree from the King of the Netherlands. This honour is only granted to companies with exceptional contributions to Dutch industry and is valid for 25 years.
The ‘Royal’ title requires a company to meet stringent criteria: it must be at least 100 years old, have an exemplary reputation for financial stability and ethical conduct, and be fully independent in its business strategy. Royal Brinkman was granted this title in 1985 to mark its 100th anniversary, with the honour renewed in 2011 for another 25 years.
CEO Ton van Mil reflects on the significance of this milestone, emphasising how the Royal title reinforces the company’s reputation globally. The designation allows Royal Brinkman to proudly display the Royal Crown and to operate under the name ‘Royal Brinkman,’ a mark of distinction that enhances its trustworthiness in international markets.
With a proud 140-year history, the ‘Royal’ title has been integral to Royal Brinkman’s continued success and global standing and the company remains committed to excellence valuing the continued recognition from the Dutch monarchy.
