Pink Lady has been the official apple for the London Marathon for several years, providing an apple for every finisher as a sugar boost at the end of the race.
In this year’s Virgin Money London Marathon four runners will be dressed as Pink Lady apples, to raise money for the Stroke Association. As part of the partnership, the Stroke Association will be providing one of the runners in the team. This runner will be selected via the supporters’ network and social media channels.
