For farmers, growers and farm managers 2023 will continue to present the challenge of managing the rising cost of crop production, while moving towards sustainable and consistent food production, and farming wouldn’t be farming without a bit of erratic weather thrown in.
The Winter webinar programme from OptiYield will tackle how to reduce input wastage, the effectiveness (and trial results) of third generation foliar nutrients and establishing weather resilient crops.
The webinars will be presented by Simon Fox, a soil scientist, agronomist, and crop nutrition specialist, who combined this vast knowledge with a master’s degree in computer science. The OptiYield system is the culmination of 40 years of work that has taken Simon around the world, cultivating crops in some of the world’s most challenging environments.
OptiYield is based on 40 years of soil and formulation research and can be used at three levels:
- Complete system
- Core System
- Foliar nitrogen and phosphates
OptiYield provides a complete program for sustainable crop production, by optimising the efficiency of inputs, thereby reducing waste. The result is increased crop performance, marketable yields and economic performance for growers.
To help you appreciate the benefits of this system, we are presenting a series of webinars will take place over January and February between 3-4pm as below:
- 31st January 2023 – Why RB209 costs you money and is environmentally damaging
- 9th February 2023 – The truth (and trial results) about foliar nutrition
- 16th February 2023 – Wet year, dry year- maintaining high yielding, reliable & profitable crops whatever the weather
