Enza Zaden has announced the appointment of René Ruiter as its new chief commercial officer and member of the Board of Directors, succeeding Hein Bemelmans, who is stepping down after nearly two decades of leadership.
The company added that the two men will use the coming months for the handover, after which Hein will remain connected to Enza Zaden in an advisory capacity, supporting the company’s external relationships with stakeholders. René brings more than 22 years of experience from Koppert Biological Systems, where he held several leadership positions, most recently as chief business officer, with his expertise spanning global market development, customer engagement, and strategic growth initiatives.
