Standen Imports had the new F-Seed precision harvester with electromechanical variator from Ferrari Growtech on their stand at Lamma this year.
This is said to be ideal for both greenhouse and open field use and includes a patented seed distribution system consisting of a sowing head and sponge which places the seed into the ground without damage. Also from Ferrari, but at the other end of the scale, the huge Futura five-row five robot transplanter was difficult to miss as it occupied half of the stand.
