Lidl’s first ever range of English wines has been unveiled. The wines, a still white, a still rosé and a white sparkling, labelled ‘Broadwood’s Folly’, are produced by Denbies Wine Estate in Surrey. Their addition to the Lidl range was announced at the end of last year, with a tasting being its first unveiling to the press last month.
The three Broadwood’s Folly promise to offer very good value for money and will attract both loyal fans of English wines and those who have yet to try wines from a region that continues to grow in reputation and popularity. These first English wines for the retailer were brought in as part of a new Easter Wine Cellar, which sees 38 new additions to Lidl’s wine list.
