Ledgnd has launched the second season of its video series “The Ledgnd of”. The series takes a closer look at the key concepts and innovations shaping modern greenhouse horticulture. In the new season, Ledgnd takes a closer look at plant health, data and sensors.
“Greenhouse horticulture is becoming smarter every year, but that also means it is becoming more complex,” says Ramon van de Vrie, founder and CCO of Ledgnd. “That is precisely why we believe it is so important to explain the essence of these developments in a clear and practical way.”
Through “The Ledgnd of”, Ledgnd shares its expertise with the sector in an accessible format. In short episodes, technical terms that are heard increasingly often in the greenhouse, such as “closed feedback loop” and “invisible stress”, are explained and translated into day-to-day practice. Using concrete case studies from different crops, Ledgnd shows how these concepts can be embedded in the cultivation strategy. The first videos are now live; additional episodes will be released over the coming period.
“We want to guide growers through the terminology used in greenhouse horticulture and discuss the developments taking place around climate and data,” says CCO Ramon van de Vrie. “By using practical examples, we show how growers can use technology to make their cultivation smarter and more sustainable. By sharing this knowledge through video, we lower the threshold and make the content appealing to a broad audience. In this way, we aim to further contribute to crop optimisation in the greenhouse sector.”
