A key area where both arable and vegetable growers are looking for more solutions is weed control as the number of chemical control options continues to decrease.
On their stand at Lamma this year, Lincolnshire-based Garford Farm Machinery were showcasing their Robocrop InRow Weeder vision guided hoeing system, together with a large version of their Tine Raiser machine, which is designed section control in fields with tight headlands or varied shaped fields to prevent hoeing overlap.
