Koppert has transferred the management of its biostimulant and fertiliser portfolio to REKA Group BV, in a move that it says will strengthen its focus on biological crop protection and pollination.
Under the deal, products that were marketed under the trademarks Veni, Vidi, and Vici, and some additional products such as Panoramix, will continue to be distributed by local Koppert subsidiaries around the world. REKA will take over the production, logistics, research and development, regulatory affairs, and sales and marketing of these products, and will also distribute the products through its self-acquired distribution channels alongside Koppert.
In a statement, the companies said that the transfer of product registrations and trademarks is expected to be completed in 2025. The impact on the existing portfolio, including which products will remain or are discontinued and the corresponding effectuation dates, will differ from country to country.
