Last week’s episode of BBC Countryfile featured Tozer Seeds new vegetable Kalettes, filmed on location at Staples Farm in Lincolnshire. Staples have been growing Kalettes for the last five years and have been working closely with Tozer Seeds. Jamie Claxton, Director of Plant Breeding at Tozer Seeds explains to John Craven how and why Kalettes, a cross between Kale and Brussels Sprouts, were bred.
