Following the celebration of John Breach and Bruno Essner at Villers–Cotterêts, France in August marking a 50-year alliance with the Pépinières du Valois fruit tree nursery, John Breach and Bart Desintebin celebrated the 25th anniversary of the association between JR Breach and Desindo at the National Fruit Show.
John and Rosemary Breach were in France 25 years ago attending Bruno Essner’s wedding in the north of the country and, while in the region, attended a fruit trade show at St. Truiden in Belgium on 1 December 1991. While there they visited the Desindo stand and met the owner Bart Desintebin. They became friends and following discussions Bart agreed to appoint JR Breach as his agent in the UK. In the same way that John’s successful alliance with Pépinières du Valois has developed over time, the business with Desindo has been equally successful. Based in Gent in Belgium, Desindo offers a wide range of pressure-creosoted tree stakes and posts, together with bamboo posts suitable for intensive post-and-wire orchard systems.
Addressing customers of JR Breach, Bart Desintebin stated, “Desindo is very proud of the quality of its products and of the high level of service that we aim to provide through the Desindo and JR Breach teams. We do hope to be able to continue that service to you in the future”.
