Major horticultural trade show IPM ESSEN has confirmed that it will take place for the 38th time at the Messe Essen event centre from 28 to 31 January 2020.
It will be the first time that the world’s leading horticultural trade fair can take advantage of the completely modernized exhibition grounds, including eight large exhibition halls on one level, equipped with the latest infrastructure. For the first time, visitors will also be able to reach IPM ESSEN 2020 through the new East Glass Foyer as an entrance.
While France has been announced as the official partner country, numerous other national stands have been confirmed for 2020, including Turkey, Guatemala and Lithuania. Other countries which have confirmed their participation include: Belgium, China, Costa Rica, Denmark, Great Britain, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Hungary and the USA.
Other highlights which have been announced include an ‘Innovation Showcase’ featuring the most beautiful and best new varieties from the participating plant exhibitors, selected by a jury of experts. Competitions will be held under the motto, ‘I live it this way – it won’t get greener!’ and florists and trainees are being called upon to let their imaginations run wild and to express their love for diverse and flowering nature with their work.
