Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Florensis Fancy Fair had to be cancelled this year. 2,000 sponsored Grow & Go pots had already been filled with young plants in preparation for the event, so Florensis came up with plan b.
Regina Dinkla of Florensis proudly said: “Alternatively, we have organized a sales action via the network of our employees and the Facebook followers of our Florensis Roparun team. With great success all baskets were sold out in a few days and we raised €12,000 for the Roparun Foundation and our charity projects in Kenya and Ethiopia!”
For three years, Desch have been a sponsor of 2,000 Grow & Go pots for the Florensis Fancy Fair. The pots, which have a unique watering system, are produced at Desch Epla in Ter Aar (NL). The Grow & Go pots are specially made from Post Consumer Waste (PCW) plastic.
“With the beautiful plant combinations from Florensis and the special Grow & Go hanging pot, the consumer can enjoy the entire summer! In this way we are happy to make our annual contribution to the Roparun Foundation and the special projects that Florensis is doing in Africa for the population around their local production locations”, Kees Waqué of Desch Plantpak concluded.
