On Thursday 18 August farmers have a chance to see behind the scenes at the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB).
Throughout the day individual staff from across teams at AHDB will be ‘out and about’ tweeting about their working day.
From 5am on Thursday 18 August, tweets will include a sneak insight into the Next Generation’s visit to the Strategic Potato Farm in Staffordshire.
In addition, by tweeting stats from AHDB’s market intelligence and consumer insight teams, AHDB will be helping levy payers demonstrate the contribution they make to the national economy.
Martin Jolley-Jarvis, AHDB Social Media Executive, said: “We want to help highlight the great work being done by producers and supply chain businesses across the country, as well as give the public an insight into the background activity, research and investment undertaken by AHDB.”
AHDB is encouraging levy payers to get involved using the hashtags #yourAHDB and #farm24
