The international opening of PROOF, Harmoniz NL’s new location on Gantellaan in Honselersdijk, took place on September 12th. A week after holding an opening for the Dutch public on September 5th, PROOF hosted 150 guests from approx. 20 countries.
Since the end of 2023, months of hard work have completely transformed an existing breeding location into a 21-department test and demo location. Located on the Gantellaan in Honselersdijk, PROOF is where innovative strength comes together, creating and testing novel developments with strict confidentiality.
During the event, Harmoniz Seeds’ guests were also welcomed by PROOF’s other two partners – Horti-Tech and Metazet. A few short speeches were followed by a group tour of the new building. The showroom showcased dozens of different tomato varieties and concepts.
Seated at a 75-metre-long table, the guests were treated to a unique experience that included tastings of Harmoniz Seeds’ tomato varieties.
Harmoniz Seeds’ investment in the PROOF facility is aligned with the company’s goal to increase demand for healthier, tastier and better food for all. Through intensive collaborations and inspiring partnerships, Harmoniz works diligently to enhance consumers’ year-round eating experiences while addressing growers’ dynamic needs. From a breeding perspective, Harmoniz Seeds relies on both hi-tech and low-tech greenhouses to develop products that are available for consumers all year round, regardless of season.
