English Wine Week started on 21st June with a record number of businesses taking part to support the category.
Among those supporting English Wine Week are:
- The UK’s busiest airport Heathrow is running special offers on its English wine range.
- As well as collaborating with WineGB on a competition to win the ultimate English Wine Weekend, the PIG Hotels are also holding a special Summer Wine Feast on 25 June showcasing English wine.
- In addition to producing a series of promotional videos, Searcys are hosting a special English wine dinner and masterclass on 24 June.
- VisitBritain will be supporting English Wine Week including a special programme launch next week.
- Fortnum & Mason are holding an English wine showcase, with over 30 different expressions featured along with a 10% discount off all English wines.
- Majestic Wine is offering multi-buy discounts on an extensive range of English wine.
- The Wine Society has put together a special English sparkling wine collection at a discounted price until 4 July.
- Supermarket Waitrose is celebrating English wine week with almost 100 different wines available to buy, Tesco is offering a 25% discount on 6 bottles for Clubcard holders, while Aldi has discounts on its English wine range available until 25 June.
- Riedel has supported English Wine Week with its English sparkling wine glass used in the English Wine Week logo design.
Other retailers, restaurants, pubs, bars, hotels and educators taking part include: Corkk, Elite Hotels, Essex Wine School, Frazier’s Wine Merchants, French & Day Delicatessen, Hawkins Bros, Lost in the Lanes, Lucknam Park, Mallow, Ronnie’s of Thornbury, Sam’s Riverside, Tanners, The Collab, The English Wine Tasting Company, The Gore London, The Old Market Assembly, The Perch Oxford, Vinotopia, Wine School of Cheshire, and 10 Greek Street.
