Diam Bouchage have joined the Institute of Masters of Wine’s (IMW) international supporter community.
Established in 2003, Diam are a manufacturer of wine and champagne cork closures based in Céret, France. They have worked tirelessly to champion their key values of security, consistency, and choice. Specialising in cork “de-aromatisation”, an exclusive patented process, Diam proudly produces the only cork closures that are sensorially neutral, free from the molecules that cause cork taint. Diam Bouchage joins the IMW to celebrate and promote excellence in wine, and their mission to protect and conserve wines supports this mission. Dominique Tourniex, CEO of Diam Bouchage, commented: “For nearly twenty years, Diam Bouchage has sought to find innovative solutions to master oxygen and time, as your students are working very hard to become masters of wine. We are very proud to join the IMW supporter family and to share the same passion for wine.” Julian Gore-Booth, Executive Director of the IMW has said: “The IMW is delighted to welcome Diam Bouchage as a supporter and we look forward to working together. Determining how best to seal a wine is hugely important and we share Diam’s passion for this element of the winemakers’ journey and for disseminating this knowledge.”
