On the final day of GreenTech, June 13th, De Ruiter Experience Center, in collaboration with Certhon, will host an exclusive morning visit to showcase the cherry tomato harvesting robot, Artemy, in action and learn more about De Ruiter.
Certhon and DENSO recently introduced Artemy, a fully automated robot for harvesting cherry tomatoes and during GreenTech Amsterdam Artemy will be on display at the Certhon stand. Representing a significant leap forward in horticultural automation it is capable of performing automatic lane changes and crate changes, and operates for 20 hours a day, including night time and under LED lighting. This level of efficiency and autonomy has the potential to revolutionise the industry, and attendees will have the unique chance to see it in action at De Ruiter Experience Center, located in Bleiswijk, Netherlands.
At this exclusive breakfast session, tour, and demonstration of Artemy at De Ruiter Experience Center guests will visit the state-of-the-art glasshouse, where innovation meets sustainability. The De Ruiter Experience Center has hundreds of tomato and cucumber varieties, which are grown and tested using the newest groundbreaking technologies that can enhance sustainable crop production and commercial growing conditions.
