The TGA will be delivering this years Tomato Conference on 24 September 2020 and for the first time as an online event.
The TGA team are working with the event programmers and the AHDB to provide the best platform for the event, and are confident that it will be a successful day.
This year’s conference presents a range of expert speakers discussing the significant challenges faced by growers and their evolving resolutions helping to ensure the sector emerges into our shared future in the best possible position to enable a vibrant, expanding, sustainable and high quality successful primary protected food production industry in the UK. The conference will cover subjects such as labour, marketing (including market data from
Kantar), policy, energy, research and innovation, and report on the latest UK and international research and understanding of the important tomato virus ToBRFV.
The 2020 conference will close with the engaging and insightful Professor David Hughes, an
