British Ornamentals Association (BOA) is now accepting nominations for the prestigious awards that will be presented at their pre-conference dinner on the evening of 4th February 2025, just before the Technical Conference. This is your opportunity to recognise the outstanding contributions of your peers in the horticultural industry.
Award Categories:
- Annual Trumpet Blowers Award – Recognising a significant contribution to plant promotion within the UK industry and across Europe. This award celebrates those who have excelled in elevating the profile and success of plants through innovative marketing and promotional efforts.
- Annual Alan Hendy Award – Honouring an outstanding contribution to the bedding plant industry. This award is dedicated to individuals who have made a lasting impact through innovation, leadership, or dedication to advancing the bedding plant sector.
- Pot Plant Growers Award – Acknowledging an outstanding contribution to pot plant production. This award recognises those who have driven excellence in pot plant cultivation, from production techniques to sustainable practices that have enhanced the industry.
- Bright Spark Award – Awarded to a younger person who has made a significant contribution to the ornamentals industry. This award highlights emerging talent and innovation, celebrating the achievements of those who are shaping the future of our industry.
To enter submit your nominations in writing to info@britishornamental.org, along with a brief summary supporting the nomination, by Thursday 31st October. Your summary should highlight why you believe the nominee is deserving of the award.
