The technical committee of British Herbs are inviting their members, and other herb growers, to their first Field Day on the 25th August 2016. The event is being hosted by R&G Herbs at Millets Farm Centre, Frilford Oxfordshire.
The morning session will be held at the Centre and will include presentations on basil downy mildew, bio control, oomycete management and responsibly sourced growing media. In the afternoon there will be a tour of the herb production at Millets Herbs and then demonstrations on mustards for soil management, soils, precision spraying, irrigation sensing and the Soil Association GREAT Soils project.
To book a place on the event contact Brooke Lovelock at British Herbs on 01507 353785 or email brooke.lovelock@britishgrowers.org. Delegate rates are £25 for British Herb members and £45 for non-British Herbs members. Student delegates are welcome free of charge. Spaces are limited so early booking is advisable to avoid disappointment.
