Bionema Group, a leading UK-based biocontrol technology company, is creating 50 science and technology apprenticeships over the next three years, starting with 15 apprenticeships in 2025.
As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2025, they are launching this initiative to address the UK’s critical skills shortage in science, technology, and sustainable agriculture while supporting the UK Government’s Skills for Growth strategy.
These apprenticeships will provide hands-on training in biopesticides, biostimulants, biofertilisers, integrated pest and nutrient management, and precision formulation and manufacturing, preparing the next generation of skilled professionals for sustainable agriculture and biomanufacturing.
CEO & Founder, Dr Minshad Ansari, believes this programme will be crucial in bridging the skills gap, driving innovation, and helping the UK meet its target of reducing chemical pesticide and fertiliser use by 50% in the next decade.
