Biobest has launched new Aphidoletes-System packaging designed to improve the performance of the gall midge Aphidoletes aphidimyza for biological aphid control. The redesigned system includes an integrated yellow sugar strip that provides newly emerged adults with an immediate energy source, helping to extend lifespan, improve flight activity and increase egg-laying for faster population build-up in crops.
The fully recyclable, paper-based packaging is engineered to support effective emergence and establishment while being quick and easy to install. Biobest says the innovation enhances sustainable aphid control and reinforces its commitment to high-performance biological crop protection solutions.
