From Tuesday, 22 September to Saturday, 26 September, you can travel around the world on a few hectares. During the annual Open Days, Bejo welcomes international growers to come and see the Bejo vegetable crops and varieties grown all over the world, on its demonstration fields.
Bejo’s demonstration fields will present both existing and new varieties. In the main tent Bejo will introduce its innovative concepts. This year, it will again include the Coolwrap, the cabbage concept which is being sold in the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden and which is spreading to other countries. At the mechanisation exhibition, an increasing number of new companies will be demonstrating their innovative machines. Visitors can join guided tours through the seed technology laboratory and the seed cleaning and processing facilities, where the seeds undergo quality control and are processed and packed. During the Open Days, there will also be presentations in the research centre about the activities there.
On Thursday, 24 September Bejo is organising a symposium: Taste, Health & Innovation 2015-Brassica Symposium. The symposium consists of two forums featuring interesting subjects aimed at the product and the market. Contact your Bejo representative if you would like to take part.
The Open Days are being held from Tuesday, 22 September to Saturday, 26 September, from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. (Saturday until 4.00 p.m.) at Trambaan 2 in Warmenhuizen, the Netherlands. More information at http://www.bejo.com.
