Haith will unveil the latest version of its batch process washing system for root and tuber crops at the LAMMA show later this year.
The machines which are designed for washing small batches of product, for example for quality control or sampling purposes, feature new high-efficiency motors and a unique sealing system which mounts all the shaft bearings externally to extend operational life and make maintenance easier.
Other features include rubber pintle lining of the barrel for gentle cleaning, automatic sludge removal, and adjustable outlet door to control washing quality and an integrated tray holder to collect the washed sample. Options include out feed baskets and the choice of painted or stainless steel finishes.
